The Westman Dreams for Kids Foundation Inc. is a non-profit, local registered organization dedicated to helping kids in the Westman area who are affected by a serious illness.
The foundation will consider any child with a serious or life threatening illness, or any child that requires special medical attention up to the age 18. We work within a referral system and every dream is taken under consideration.
Thanks to the great students in Mr. Beckwirth’s Broadcast Media Class at Vincent Massey for their donation through their fundraising efforts. Thanks for inviting our foundation to take part in your daily broadcast on April 12th to make the presentation. This very popular class has seen the enrollment rise considerably & we wish the students & Mr. Beckwirth the best of luck in this new program that will pave the way to a future in the Media Industry.
Arnie Guist, Manager of The Crocus Credit Union, Rosser Avenue Branch presented Westman
Dreams for Kids with a generous donation on behalf of the Staff and Management.
Thank you from our foundation for this contribution and for helping us to achieve our mandate of
making Dreams come true for children in the westman area who are facing serious illnesses.
Westman Dreams for Kids has been so fortunate to have been the recipient of monies raised on this special day for the past three years. This partnership with McDonalds has helped our foundation make many Dreams come true for children in the Westman area who are facing serious health issues. Many thanks go out to the staff and supporters of this very special day.
Thank you to staff and management of Tundra Oil & Gas in Virden for their generous donation to our foundation. Funds were raised through in-house games and draws, a silent auction, a Truck Pull Challenge and their biggest event was a Cheerleaders challenge! If donations reached a pre-determined level, six of the company’s male staff pledged to dress as cheerleaders & do a cheer during lunch hour at the Virden Central Hotel.
